Much research has been done and many books, reports and treatises written on the sustainability of insulation materials. However to date there has not been a single source of information for building, planning or structural engineering practitioners who want to make a quick, well-informed decision. swisspor AG has therefore got together with an external, independent expert to develop the Insulation Spider, with axes on which the most important aspects of sustainability can be presented in a simple visual format. The spider’s web graphics are methodically correct and have been developed in accordance with objective, transparent criteria. The Insulation Spider reports are available in German and French.
