Eternit-Werke Ludwig Hatschek AG, with its headquarters in Vöcklabruck, is the supplier of a full range of high-end products for roofs and façades, manufactured in ultra-modern works to top international quality standards. Founded in 1894 by the inventor of the Eternit material, this long-established company is the Austrian market leader for all pitched roof products. Eternit-Werke Ludwig Hatschek AG employs 455 people, and also runs Hatschek Betondachstein GmbH and the building materials wholesaler Dach und Wand Handels GmbH & Co KG (website  www.dachundwand.at) with six sites in Austria. Since 2009 the Austrian Eternit group (EWLH) has been part of the group together with Eternit (Schweiz) AG with sites in Niederurnen and Payerne, Promat AG (Winterthur), ESAL d.o.o. (Slovenia) and FibreCem Deutschland GmbH (Germany). Quality & environment Product quality and environmental protection are of prime importance to Eternit-Werke Ludwig Hatschek AG. Back in 1996 Hatschek Betondachstein GmbH was the first company in its sector to be ISO 9001 certified for quality management. The roofing tile product group by Eternit has also been awarded the environmental quality mark of the Austrian Institute for Healthy and Ecological Building (IBO).
